October 31st TARGET AUDIENCE & EVIDENCE Our Target Audience will be 15 years to older generations/ a more mature audience. Being a horror, it will be unsuitable for younger people, which is commonly seen in horror films due to the fear and props used to induce that fear. We are thinking of a horror/comedy film possibly based off the Netflix movie ”In the tall Grass”, for this reason it may be mainly enjoyable by people ages 15-30. GENRE & CONVENTIONS Horror/Comedy: Cheesy chase scene, someone always trips. Hidden Antagonist throughout the film. Plot twist. The unknown is more feared than the known. E.g. (Truth or dare, Halloween, In the tall grass) Crows/ iconographic sound effects and music. BUDGET We have a very limited budget and therefore we must carefully consider how we can include effective and realistic costumes.
