As a group we decided to change and reshoot our short film, so we created more storyboards to go with our new narrative.

I will use foley footstep sounds when the girl is running to make the thuds on the ground more impactful. 

I plan to use an impactful instrument sound when the screen turns and shows Isaacs mask design on the floor, because it is the same design as the killer in the introduction sequence.

Before my research into horror/comedy short films, I studied 3 short films: About a Girl, Finley, The Detective. The films are completely different styles but are of the same genre to help influence my own short film. I decided to make my short film based on my knowledge of horror and comedy and learned what shot types and angles i could use as a convention of my short film. We used our spare rooms in college such as the lecture theatre and used different corridors as our short film was based around some friends creating a Halloween costume. In cinematography of a horror there are close-ups, which can be used to capture emotions. For my unit 3, i had to create a media product, which included a front cover, contents page and double page spread. I called my magazine 'ANTI', which was a reference to the theme of my magazine being a rapper and he had a tattoo that states 'ANTI'. I used some of the same equipment in unit 3 as I had to create my unit 5 short film. In addition, I have also used the same conventions which I had to consider before I created the products, such as genre codes. I considered codes and conventions from other horror films such as 'About a Girl', 'Finley' & 'The Detective', where I had to consider colour, music, proxemics, acting, costume, camera angle and camera shots.
